Why the trained, not the rookies.

Why do you think that Andy Harris, Rob Hall, and Scott Fischer, who are clearly more professional, die and not the rookies like Jon and the rest of the clients?

I think it is because they are paid to help the clients reach the top and survive the trip. So even if someone doses something stupid they would have to risk their lives to help save the others. It is also because they were doing most of the work for everybody and where probably very tired.

I think this is because the trained people have to help the not trained clients climb the mountain and if they get hurt the professionals have to go back and help them. Also they are doing all the work like helping the inexperienced helping them climb and also worring about them selves and making it up the mountain. This would probably wear them out.
