Decision

If you had come down with HACE close to the summit, but if you came down you would not be able to go to the summit, and if you went to the summit, there was no chance of coming down, would you see the summit and risk your life, or play it safe?

I personally would want to play it safe because then I would be able to see other things in the world. I would also not go because I would know that I can try again next year.

I would definitely have gone down the mountain. I would not mess around with my life by risking death for something you can always do it again. This would be if I were a wealthy person. If I was not in a good economical standpoint and I spent my money all on this trip I would continue. Since I would only have one chance to climb Everest I would go on. The feeling to overcome something great has an incredible feeling. Also the feeling to turn around and call it quits on you only chance to climb the highest mountain and to join the small group of people who have achieved climbing Everest would be a huge bearing on yourself in future to come. As I finish my point, I would climb if it is the only chance but I wouldn’t do it if I were rich enough to afford another chance.
