Generosity

Why do you think the IMAX team gave up so much of their oxygen and risked their lives and jeopardized their 5.5 million dollar IMAX video to attempt to save some surely doomed climbers?

I think that the IMAX tea risked all that because unlike the South African team they are very unselfish. Also they recognized that they would have to live with the terrible grief of knowing that people died up on Mt. Everest while they were sitting by in their tents. I think it is very ironic how the South Africans and the IMAX teams are completely opposites with one being very self-centered and the other a very generous expedition.

I think that the IMAX was generous by giving fifty oxygen tanks and risking their expedition, because they were good people. I also the IMAX team was generous because they probably felt it was a good thing to do, and didn’t want any tragedies to happen while they were on the mountain, incase of bad reviews on their movie or loss of popularity. In addition, I thought that the IMAX expedition was generous because if some people would of died on the mountain, then the expedition would of felt less comfortable filming in a area that they know death has occurred.
