If you were injured or sick with a disease would you still want to climb a mountain that you have always dreamed of climbing.

Iwould keep climbing. I would do it because it is your life dream to climb the mountain. If it was your life dream to climb the mountain why would you stop. It would be pointless because it would be like giving up on your dream. This is why i think that you should keep climbing the mountain no matter what.

I probably wouldn't keep climbing the mountain. If I knew I was sick, I could die a lot easier on the mountain. I disagree with Otie when he says that he is giving up the dream, because the dream is not given up, it is postponed. If I was sick and died I would necer be able to climb Everest again, but if I gave up, recovered, and went back I would have another shot at the mountain. It would probably hurt me a lot emotionally to turn around, but I would turn around in the end because I would know that its best for me.

I would probably stop climbing the mountain, because it is not worth risking your life to climb this mountain. There is always a chance to go up another time. It would be difficult to turn around knowing that you got up pretty far, and had to turn around, it would be hard to think about it, but I think that I would not want to put myself in danger for this.
